Hi @Nic01:  Sadly, I haven’t been to any of those… The Resorts do look lovely tho.

I have however, been to the Caribe Hilton in San Juan that has a Swim-Up Bar… altho we opted for the “land side” vs the water side.

Truthfully… Mr TTR & I tend to avoid Swim-Up Bars cause they tend to unfortunately have a bit of a “nasty” reputation.

Hope this helps,

I’ve always wanted to go to a swim up bar! But have never had the chance yet…

None of those ones, I was so hoping Hamilton Island’s would be on there, that was a lovely swim up bar and they have the BEST drink- it’s called a ‘mud baby’. If I ever go back there, I’m going to discreetly record them making me one, so that when I get back home, I can copy them step by step mwahahaha!

OMG!  Those are all awesome!  I’ve been to one swim up bar before and it was the best thing ever.  We went to Aruba during football season and the bar had flat screens so we were able to watch the games with a tropical drink hanging out in the pool.

One of the things I’m looking to doing most on our honeymoon!

I’ve been to the swim up bar at the Four Seasons Wailea. The pool was awesome but the swim up bar wasn’t that exciting (and had a grand total of like 6 “seats”). View from the pool

@Chrysoberyl:  Hmmm, that the water tends to be “particularly warm” near the bar.

😮 *Yikes*

I got this email from Tripadvisor today! I stay away from swim up bars because the water is always curiously warmer when you get up there……….
