Here’s mine, and I inclued why and whether or not we got it!

Rice Cooker: Hubby and I love rice… and my rice cooker died and his broke many moons ago. We got it as a present! (actually the first one we opened on our long road trip back down to FL)

KitchenAid Mixer: Because it’s awesome. Didn’t get it, but there are some black friday ads leaked with good prices so I may get it then!

Blender/Food processor: Didn’t have one and it’s pretty much a kitchen necessity. Got it as a bridal shower gift from Mother-In-Law

Bissell Spot Bot steam cleaner: We have dogs and are renting a house with lots of carpet. This thing is a miracle worker! We didn’t get it gifted to us, but we purchaased it after returning a serving platter that wasn’t on our registry, used a 20% off coupon, and gift cards that were gifted to us.

China: Because I would feel bad buying something fancy like that when there are so many things that we really need that are practical. (ie a new couch) My aunt was awesome and bought us 4 place settings!!!! Now I have something pretty to serve Thanksgiving dinner on!!!!!

  1. Vacuum (I would be surprised if we get it since Fiance picked a $700 one)
  2. Sewing Machine
  3. Dinnerware
  4. Flatware
  5. Crystal

Maybe my list is cheating because you have to buy all of our plates individually but oh well.

3.  Wine storage table

4.  Pretty Calvin Klein sheets from Macy’s (I get all my sheets from TJ Maxx)

Mine were and if it lived up to my standards or not.

Emulsion blender- it ended up being useless because I have a Vitamix blender and it works so much better

Cuinsiart food processor- I love it! Mostly I find myself using it for the shredding blade

Cast Iron Pam- Love it

Memory Foam Pillows- ended up giving both of us sore necks so we dont use them

Crystal wine glasses- love the design and we use them whenever company is over so they dont just sit and collect dust.

I’m having trouble determining which items are my “top” 5, so I’ll just go by price.

1. An everyday set of dishes that MATCHES! Including all the fun stuff like sugar bowl, gravy boat, etc

2. New knife set

3. Kitchenaid 9-speed HAND mixer – I couldn’t justify asking someone to spend an extra $300 for the stand mixer when I hardly ever bake… Besides, I already have a great set of glass mixing bowls to use it with! 🙂

4. Kitchenaid 7-cup food processor

5. New BIGGER George Forman grill – removable plates for easy washing, looks like it can fit 4 hamburger patties… pretty excited!

I’m kind of stumped though, we’ve only registered for about 40-50 items but are inviting 150 guests. Not sure what else we need, so I’ll keep an eye on this thread for ideas.

2. Kitchen Aid Mixer

3. Knife Set

4. Down Comforter

5. Bedding – I just fell in love with the set we registered for!

1.  A good knife set.  I’ve had a Wusthof chef’s knife for ten years now, and am asking for the whole chef’s set.

2.  A blender with a glass jar.

3.  Pizza stone

4.  Bakeware – specifically stackable cooling racks and silpat sheets for cookie pans

5.  Nicer replacements for the cheaper kitchen items I have, such as spatulas, measuring spoons, etc.

Mine were:

China: I got most of it and I love it. Right now we’re waiting to move into our house that’s under construction, but as soon as we do, I can’t wait to use it.

Crystal: Pretty much the same as above.

Flatware: Ok, I admit it, I pretty much wanted to complete my pretty table, and we already had most of the necessities, in some case duplicates of most of the necessities.

Bedding: new stuff that matched both of our tastes.

Kitchenaid Mixer: like everything else, it’s waiting until our house is ready to be used, but I’m excited to start experimenting with it.

  1. Kitchenaid mixer. (Most expensive thing on my registry)
  2. Bedding (Duvet cover)
  3. Kettle
  4. Decanter
  5. Bath mats

I don’t really NEED any of these things though, to be honest. I made a registry because my mom made me, haha. If it wasn’t so gauche to ask, I’d just hope for honeymoon money. But obviously I’d never tell anyone that, or ask!

@littlemisst08:  OMG I love that thing! I had originally registered for the little green machine (same thing just not as spiffy) because my parents have one and it is the BEST invention ever… Well, noone bought us one and when we went to the store we decided to spend the extra $20 for something we could place over a small piss spot and walk away. and OMG it’s awesome. But I’m easily amused by something that 1)gets rid of dog smells and 2) I can walk away from and it does it’s job automatically
