I am doing the same thing, and I am planning on getting different antique bowls and arranging them in different heights and filling them with the toppings

Here are some ideas from a Pinterest search:

  • Fruit & Veggie Bar: Obviously, ignore the presence of vegetables. Instead of what they show for vegetable dips, you can use your sauce toppings and include a little ladles. Then place your fruit slice toppings in the upper vases with little tongs.
  • Fruit Buffet: This is more of a buffet style presentation, but you could put your sauces in higher sitting bowls and your fruit slices on low plates.
  • Stacked Serving: You can find these kinds of stacked serving pieces in many stores and online. With similarly styled bowls below it, it could save you quite a bit of space if you don’t have much.
  • Stacked Serving II: It’s a similar style to above, but it’s take up more room. You can also set bowls on top of the serving dishes to serve the sauces.
  • Long Platters: Looking at the bottom picture, you can see the fruit looks very good on these long platters. It also would encourage a double-sided buffet-style serving if that your set up. The sauces could simply be similarly styled bowls at the end.

Those are just a few of the results I found when I searched on the terms fruit bar.

I wonder if the sauces would do well in something like an oil pourer? It would keep it a little cleaner?

@Americano:  I agree with this….or you could try a gravy boat for the pour-able sauces

I was just thinking it would be a little more elegant than a squeeze bottle. 😉 hehe
