Torn between 2 houses help! Anyone know slough or Staines?

jdeleon14255 :  I personally would go with the 2nd house. Parking is good for one, better value for money. Plus it will be safer in a nice tucked away street for kids.

Listen to your gut on the 1st house either way. That feeling has started for a reason.

Maybe keep looking? You are going to curse the longer commute time that comes with house 2.

What are the major property/location issues with the first house?  You really don’t want to get tangled up with issues with the property that you can’t change (right-of-way through your backyard vs ugly kitchen cabinets).

Second house seems like a potentially good deal, especially with a motivated seller and a price lower than the rest of the block.

I have no knowledge of the London area though, being a damn yank and all.
