Thank you all for your votes (and all the compliments never hurt ;)). We’re going to visit the venue next week and then after I see that in person I can make the final decision. You’ve all been giving incredible input!! xx

Here is my assessment. To be honest I thinkboth dresses on their own are fine. I am not sure either is super super complimentary to you. That being said teh first one which in my opiino is the puoffy dress is the better one. Though the color seems a bit off champagne and almost grey looking bodice but it does give you more shape whereas the seond dress which to me is the trumpet dress but the more white dress doesn’t fit you that well and tends to makeyou look a bit dumpy though I suppose because it is not fitted to you perfectly? It sounds like you have money to replace such dress though. In the end what dress makes you feel more beautiful.

Poofy by a mile . The trumpet looks like every other trumpet /mermaid. In the poof , you look light and airy and bridal.
ETA I see you are going to let the venue be the final l decider . Myself I’d go with what I looked best in ,not what looked like it “went’ with any venue. I don’t reckon any guest goes home saying “hmm I don’t think her her dress went with the venue ” . But they do go home saying ‘she looked beautiful in that dress “

OMG the first one, pouffier, HANDS DOWN. It is so gorgeous on you. I wouldn’t even think about the trumpet. I hope this doesn’t offend but that one is boring to me. The first one is so amazing.

I love the pouf one, the bodice is unique and intricate. 🙂 The trumpet looks like a million other dresses I’ve seen.

I read this thinking the ballgown was the first gown you already purchased and I thought you were crazytown for second guessing it. It’s beautiful, I love it. Much more than the trumpet (even though that also looks great on you, the alteration issues will probably drive you bonkers).
Is the trumpet a Mon Cheri by chance? I tried on a dress that looks exactly like that but it was in blush, and I loved it so much but ultimately ended up picking a ballgown.

The first dress. The description seems off so I didn’t vote.
