I really love the first one on you. I think it hits at a more flattering spot on your waist and I just think the dress is prettier. Really though I don’t think you could go wrong with either one.

You look gorgeous in both, but the Penelope is more unique and romantic in my opinion. This dress is sold by BHLDN and from the first time I saw it, I couldn’t get it out of my head (you can see pictures of real brides wearing it if you go to their website). Also, many times straps look funny when they’re not a part of the original dress – a bit too noticeably added on, if you know what I mean, so the Stella might not benefit from straps. I think the illusion neckline of the 1st dress will look dreamy!

Sorry, I’m biased! I have the Stella York 6025 in blush! I think the shop you went to did something funny with the waist of the stella though. Theres supposed to be a delicate sparkley belt, and a little bit of scalloped lace that comes out under it, unless you specified that you wanted to try it on with the sash? The original design might emphasize the natural waist better. You look wonderful in the Penelope as well! I sympathize with the color choice question, I ended up picking the Stella in blush because it was the one I tried on in store, and I had no idea what the white or ivory would look like on me.

hayleybee: I’ve voted for the first one as the delicate overall look plus the lace specifically. It looks very suitably girly on you too, not everyone can carry that off.

The second looks more bridal to me! But both of them are gorgeous.

Number 1 is my favorite.  The top is gorgeous and i love the color. I agree with you though, you just cant go wrong. No matter what you pick they will both look stunning on you.

Jess720:  Jess- do you gave pictures of you in the blush? My store only had ivory and I think it’s my dress but curious what it looks like on a real bride!

Just tried the Stella York  on yesterday in ivory- added a much more flashy belt at the natural waist area

I like the first one better WITH the darker underneath color! If they were both in ivory, I don’t know, they’re maybe the same.

But you should seriously consider the darker underneath color.. it looks really unique and gorgeous.

Omg I love the first one but I think it’s because of the contrast. I don’t know if I would still like it more without the contrast. I like how bold the lace is
