help! i was glazing one of my bouquets. i put it in the centerpiece vase to let it dry and I actually like the way it looks. Now i dont know which centerpiece to use!
This is the originial centerpiece i decided on. I already have a few made.
Its a purple glitter vase with multi-colored roses with lights
This is where the tinkering comes in. The flowers are pearlized purple. I would just have a dome of flowers on top so ignore the flowers on the otherside. I would add lights and the “poker card” table number. (we are using cards as our place cards)
Which do you like best and please tell me why.

Second one. They look…better. I really dislike the light and the card and the purple string things in the first one.

I like the second one. I like that it’s all the same color flowers.

I voted for the second centerpiece — it seems a little more cohesive. Good luck!

I prefer the flowers in the second version if the arrangement was slightly larger to balance the proportion to the vase.
The glittery monogrammed vase is a bit much for me. I would use something simpler- a clear vase with a wide band of purple- something along these lines
Did you know that you can order playing cards custom printed with your numbers?

I think mots of the people voting for 2 missed this part:

I don’t think the lights and card look very good. I can see doing poker card table numbers but I think it really takes away from the flower arrangement and you should try to do that separately. The lights I also think do not improve the look.

I really dislike the light and poker card. Sorry.
Of the flowers I think the same color flowers in the second centerpiece look better.

@julies1949: I wish I had known that. I just made them using my cricut. I’m beginning to second guess them tho. My fiancé loves poker that’s why I incorporated them into the reception but now I’m thinking they don’t really go with anything.

@aenriquez311: Because@crystalrae: has raised the issue- where do you plan to add the lights? I am assuming they would either be battery operated lights inside the vase, or candles surrounding the vase.

@aenriquez311: I think the playing card idea can still work as escort cards and table numbers. I would just separate it from the vase.
You can buy little frames at the dollar store so they are freestanding.

My venues will be dimly lit and we have up lighting. I was planning on doing it somewhere between the flowers. i tried inside the vase but then you can see brush marks. I could get a string of fairy lights and wrap it into the flower. i have yet to purchase the lights so I could still dog without them.
The table with have three votives ( a purple, brown and silver) the centerpiece all on top of a mirror.

The candles will probably be enough light. I don’t think the little lights in the flowers are needed. I kinds like the first centerpeice with the different coloured roses, but both are nice. I also am not a fan of the card on top. If you wanted to light up the vase itself, perhaps you leave the vase clera and just add some of those clear beads at the bottom to cover and filter hte light.

As pp’s I don’t like the card and the light, it’s a lot as it is and with that added it’s just too incoherent from my point of view.
Now, that wasn’t what you asked – I prefer the second bouquet, but I don’t think the first one is totally lost. I would swap the patterned/non purple flowers to roses in different purple shades. That way it would look a little less busy.

Agree with PP’s – second one looks better.
