Wow…this is tough. Reading all the reviews, you’ll never find a product where the majority of people are satisfied 100% of the time!
We are torn between two now (definitely want video and digital to cut down on interference and issues like that).
The Samsung SafeVIEW (3037W).
anyone have experience with either or both of these? any tips or recommendations? thanks!

I don’t have any experience with either of these, but I recommend you buy a security camera (around $65) and hook it up to your computer or smartphone through an app and wireless. That’s what we did, it saved TONS of money, and it works perfectly. And it was WAY cheaper.
It has listen and talk-back features, too, and has excellent night vision. Here’s a picture of my dude in his crib at night!
(She gives both instructions and a link to the camera she (and I) used on amazon.)
Hope it helps!

My best friend has the Motorola and loves it. She is getting ready for baby number two and just went to purchase the second camera and loves that as well. We are getting ready to purchase it for our first child.

I’ve noticed that the Motorla is the one a few friends/relatives have registered for recently as well…Thanks!

make sure you research thses well. I have a friend who had a video monitor and she would pick up OTHER people in the neighborhoods video monitors. – so she would wake up and see OTHER peoples kids AND be able to talk to them
creepy. That was enough for me to return mine immediately and just get the normal monitors w not video. Although those get intercepted occassionally too – at least you cant see the baby or see if someone is home/in the house!
This has apparently been addressed with some companies so i would just read up on them for this information.

Commenting to follow. I have the Motorola one in my wishlist, but I am open to other suggestions.

yes, I heard about this as well! I did a little reading online, and the articles I saw advised that you get a model that is “digital” to reduce that kind of interference. Very creepy, though!
