Hello – help! I’m getting married in 6 weeks and currently can’t decide between two dresses.
Dress number 1) is the first one I purchased, I’ve had it altered slightly. When I went for my fitting last weekend I was intially really pleased but as I walked away doubt filled my mind. I’m worried I won’t feel comfortable in the dress on the big day – I’m not used to wearing strapless, and the dress is quite bodycon – I feel like I might have to hold in my stomach in this dress!
After panicking about dress 1) not working out I started looking for an alternative and bought dress 2) today. Overall it feels more ‘me’ and I really like it, but I wonder if it’s too dowdy?
My friends have mixed opinions, so I wanted to ask you for your help – which do you like best?! Dress 1 or dress 2? Sorry for not including my face – I wanted to keep it anonymous in case anyone I know sees me! Also, dress 1) has some safety pins in it – ignore these, they’re just to mark alterations.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you! x

I personally love dress #2. It’s simple yet elegant.

#1 is def my opinion. Its sexy, classy, slimming, and you look great. Dress number 2 looks like a second time bride dress and a little matronly. Get a good pair of spanx if you are that concerned and you will be fine!

They both look fab! You could always wear Dress 1 for the ceremony and Dress 2 for the reception to be a little comfier and not worry about “holding it in” even though I don’t see anything to worry about!

I agree with wonderlily, wear them both! But if I had to pick just one, I would go with the first one. It looks beautiful on you.

#2, seems like fits you better then #1. and more comfortable to wear and (looked) 🙂 🙂
anyway, it’s your call, it’s your day!

Definitely number 1!! Stunning! Who makes it?

Ok I love dress two, it doesn’t look matronly because you don’t look matronly. But what DOES look matronly are those shoes, which you can see in the dress, and they hurt my heart. Dress two with some shoes that aren’t sexless all the way.
But you look phenomenal in both so you can’t go wrong.

Dress 2 for sure. It gives your figure a better shape, cinches in your waist better and makes your boobs look bigger.
Admittedly, it’s a bit hard to tell from the angle of the first one.

As for dress 2 being dowdy – was Audrey Hepburn dowdy? I don’t think so!

I think Dress #2 is absolutely stunning! You look fabulous in it!!

I love dress 2, it looks way more flattering and super elegant. It looks a lot more comfortable and like you could dance all night 🙂 no offence but dress 1 sort of looks like it’s about to fall off…

Dress 2 seems to suit you far more than dress 1. I don’t think it is at all dowdy. In fact it is quite “cutting edge” with it’s raised skirtline.

You look great in dress 1! Dress 2 doesn’t seem like a wedding dress to me.
