I like number two better, but I think it would look better with out the sash. I feel like the sash is competing with the detail at the top.  They both look great on you though!

Both of those dresses look amazing on you. I can see why you’re having a hard time deciding.

Which dress FEELS the best while you’re wearing it?

I love both of them!  If you have your heart set on a sash then go with the first one, I don’t like the look of the sash on the second one.  I work at DB and absolute LOVE the beading and bubble hem of that dress, just don’t care for it with the sash.

@Dapsqueen:  Wow, this silhouette is perfect for you (I had to do a lot of repeated scrolling to decide). My vote is with the DB, which is utterly stunning on you.

    • AA: I like the details of this gown (bust embellishment, silhouette, subtle lace pattern), and of course it looks good on you, BUT it looks too stiff/structured/moulded (like when you poke a bra cup and it pops right back into place); so overly enthusiastic boning ends up detracting from your figure, rather than complementing your natural shape/curves
    • DB: this definitely is a “wow” gown on you; the swept ruching is draped beautifully on your figure, and the embellished details are just perfect (they make the dress look far more expensive than the AA); although I would recommend a different sash (more like the AA) or no sash at all since it’s chopping up your figure, rather than complementing/accentuating your tiny waist

    P.S. You have lovely posture!

I love the top of the second dress! The beading on the sweetheart of #1 is too much, imho. I agree the sash doesn’t work well with the second gown, but it’s still my favorite! I prefer lace over satin, but you look fab in both!

@shamrock1228:  +1 I agree that the sash is competing with that beautiful detailing.

I love the first dress on you and the lace is stunning with the additional layer and ruching! I think it would be worth the extra money.  The second dress is beautiful, but I think it looks “older”.

@Dapsqueen:  Your figure looks amazing in both of these!  You seriously have a great body and those dresses show it off.  Your fiance will be speechless no matter which one you wear.  I love the belt and bling on number two, and I love the look of the fabric on number one.  I still haven’t voted because I can’t decide!  You have an awesome problem, because basically you will look like a perfect ten no matter what you choose!

You look great in both dresses, but I prefer the David’s Bridal because the fit is so much better on you. If you love lace, I would encourage you to try a few more lace mermaid/trumpet style dresses, because the AA one is not doing you justice. As @MlleFabuleux: pointed out, the boning is all over the place and looks warped in some parts. It’s not pulling you in the way the DB dress is. I would also add that the sash on the DB dress is unnecessary, between the bling on your left hip and neckline, I don’t think the dress needs a sash. If your heart is set on a blingy sash, maybe keep looking for less embellished dresses.
