Hello everyone! I found “my dress” (Sottero and Midgley JSM1238) last weekend at a bridal salon and completely fell in LOVE with it that I didn’t try on anymore dresses. Unfortunately, the dress I tried on was a size 6 and I am a size 10. Therefore, I decided to go to another salon to try on a similar dress in my size so that I would have a better idea of how my size would look on me. That is when I fell in love with a second dress (Maggie Sottero Angelina)!!! So, now I am TORN and need your help! I will be getting married in October of 2011 in Atlanta at a venue which has the ceremony and reception outside. I have pics of me in the Sottero and Midgley dress; but, I haven’t had a chance to get my mother’s camera to download pics of the second dress, so here’s the link to the second dress (http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?line=m&page=3&style=A3402). Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

WOW! You look amazing in this dress! I looked at the link to the other dress, and I personally like this one that you are wearing better. I think it’s perfect on you!

I agree with beckiesue. I like the detailing on the first dress more. I vote you stick with it! 😀

For some reason I’m getting a sense that most dresses you put on look great on you, and it’s hard not to fall in love with all of them. I know how that is like because before I found the one, I loved at least two dresses at every shop I visited. Have you tried on other styles just as a litmus test to see if the ones you have are really the one?
Personally, I like the top of the first one, but prefer the skirt on the second one.

THANKS!!! The first dress is soooo different, which makes me love it more (especially since it comes in a pearl color) but then the second dress is something more like a “princess dress” that most brides dream of wearing the day of the wedding. Thanks again!!!

I like the first one that you have on better…It has the wow factor—-the other posted link not so much.

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I have tried on roughly 25 – 30 dresses and the first dress is the only dress I had that “WOW” moment in. Then, I tried on the last dress and had a 2nd “WOW” moment. My intention was not to try on another dress after I found “The One”; it just kinda happened that way. I know people say to STOP looking at other dresses after you have found the one because it just confusses you the more. I can definately co-sign that statement now!

I think the second one is my fave… deff the back looks more put together to me.

I like the second one better. It looks more classic and is very gorgeous. The first one just has too much going on with all the beading, ruching, and asymmetrical pickups. The second one seems simpler and prettier to me. I’d like to see it on you, so post pics if you get a chance!

i’m torn, i love the top of the first one. I agree witha pp that it has a little too much going on…but i like the second one but i feel as if it doesn’t have enough going on. i think you look gorgeous in the first one tho, it fits you perfectly and i would love to see you in the second one too. 🙂

My vote is Sottero and Midgley JSM1238. It looks great on you and I think it will photograph well in an outdoor setting.
