If they admitted fault then start over. You will have negative thoughts about this ring for a long time because of the stuff you are going thru right now. Post a pic and maybe the collected group can locate something simular that you might love. Chin up girl you still have a wonderful Fiance so you are a step ahead in reality.

$ back, you will find better made designs and you shouldn’t have to risk chipping stones when they need to handle with care

If they messed it up big time once (which they did!), I’d take the money and go somewhere else. I wouldn’t trust them again.

Very unusual, pretty ring. I say go with the refund and start ffesh so as not to prolong any negative experience with these (unprofessional) jewellers and maybe one day, your hubby will get you a RHR as an anniversary or birthday gift that looks just like your e-ring?

I totally understand the indecision though. I’m very sentimental and wouldn’t want to give up the original ring he proposed with but I think it’s for the best to start afresh. 🙂

It’s a gorgeous ring and I’m so sorry you’re having all the trouble with it that you’re having. If it were me, I’d get my money back and either work with a new jeweler or find a similar design elsewhere. I would be worried that they would destroy another ring and not be willing to refund my money the second time around.

I think the sadness you’re feeling is totally natural but I’m sure that once your final ring is on your finger, you’ll be even happier than you were the first time. Think of it as ring destiny, you’re just waiting for the ring you were meant to have all along 😉

i would take the ring to another jeweler to fix it, and maybe ask for some money from the orginal makers for compensation
