  • Wedding: March 2016 - Enoch Turner Schoolhouse

I’m getting married at Enoch Turner Schoolhouse!  I don’t think they have outdoor but the inside is beautiful because of the windows 🙂  We’re having our ceremony and reception there.  Good for up to 150 people but perfect for anything under 100.

We paid $1000 to rent the entire venue.  However my wedding is on a Thursday and in March, during their non-peak season that gave us an additional 20% off.  Their peak season is after April.  Weekend wedding is between $2000-2750).

Good luck finding your dream venue 🙂  Happy planning!

CMHCW:  Maybe somewhere like Le Sélect Bistro? It’s a restaurant that has an outdoor patio for a ceremony- looks really sweet.

We got married at Mercatto and loved it! (The location at 101 College St.) – They have an outdoor patio that they said could be used for a ceremony as well, if you want to do it all at one spot. We had 90 people total but it was tight – 40 would be great there!

They’re closed on Sundays so you can get a better rate that day rather than buying out the resto on another day.

Let me know if you get in touch with them!

And feel free to check out my previous posts for recaps! 🙂

Maybe Casa Loma? Or does Toronto have a Royal Botanical gardenss. In Burlinton Royal Botanical Gardens offers ceremony space, I believe it is indoor out doors options.

justagirlfirst:  Casa Loma is super expensive, starting at $150/plate.  Beautiful location however and if you can do it there, I highly recommend it.  But personally, our budget allows for $100/plate and that’s pricey for us.

Wow funny, when I read this I thought of Enoch Turner Schoolhouse as well. They quoted us a great price and it’s such a cool venue.

CMHCW:  try The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg. They have a chapel, as well as a restaurant for indoor events, and they do have an outdoor area, with the arc and chairs set up. Also, you can try The Manor. The outdoor space overlooks water, and they have a few different sized rooms for the reception.

I was going to suggest Kleinburg (Doctors House or McMichael) but if you want downtown there’s the Allen Kew Gardens, The Distillery District (most of those restaurants will host a wedding), Arts & Letters club (But there’s no outside), Enoch Turner Schoolhouse.
