CMHCW:  You may want to try Enoch Turner Schoolhouse. Not sure but I think they may allow outside catering

I would check out Todmorden Mills! Perfect setting for cocktail reception and you can bring in whatever you need.

When I was looking, i didn’t find that bringing in your own food was necessarily cheaper.  We got married at the gladstone hotel (west queen west) and it was VERY affordable.  To give you an idea:

Brunch – $25 to $35

Cocktails – $25 to $35

Full dinner – $50

And we paid $800 for the room.

It’s a historic hotel, so you don’t need much in the way of decor.  All the linens, tables, chairs, plates, silverware etc are included.  As were pop, juice, coffee, etc.  And the bar prices were very reasonable.
