I am reviving this thread! Has anyone else had any luck finding a Toronto/GTA videographer? I’ve only seen a few listed and their prices are all insane, even if the quality is great… I just can’t justify it. But I am hopeful that there is someone else out there with reasonable pricing!! Anyone have any other recco’s or discover anyone new in their searching??

@hotchocolate: You might want to ask Stillmotion if they could recommend anyone who’s done their courses. I know Stillmotion themselves is on the high end, but I’m sure they could let you know who their star pupils are. I know they have a week long course this week, so there’s a fresh crop of cinematographers coming out of that!

I’ve booked with Studio910 (www.studio910.com). They’re under $5000 and I find that the quality of their work is more than worth the cost!

I agree and love StillMotion too!

My friends actually went with a videography studio called Perfect Shutter that travelled up from Windsor and she mentioned that they were less than the $5000 budget she set. She had her wedding in the Niagara winery region and I really loved the work they did for her.

Their website is http://www.perfectshutter.com/blogs/videography and their videos are well done! (If you’re curious, my friends video is the Daniela and Joe one).

It looks like they’d be up for coming up to the GTA too so I’d give them a shot.

Good luck!

Anybody found a videographer/cinematographer that is less than 3k? (Whole day coverage, highlights, no SDE)

I’d check out Inthemoment Productions too if you’re in Toronto. Absolutely amazing work, and what’s best is that we could afford them! Wink

Cinematography is a fantastic element and keepsake for your wedding! There are many different types of cinematography packages and companies out there. It is really great that you are asking around for different opinions. StillMotion looks like great quality! I like @bakerellas opinion about asking StillMotion about who they would recommend.

We are in the process of looking for a videographer as well for our upcoming wedding. We love Stillmotion too, but there out of our budget. We did get referred to a videographer that has similar qualities to Stillmotion, working out of Toronto. There called 3rd leg films, I’d check them out as well. Link below:

We are in the process of booking with them as we were really impressed with there shooting style and quality, there price is very affordable too.

Good luck to everyone!

We booked with Illusions Media… So far they have been fantastic to work with (our Wedding is not until Oct 6 2012) their prices are reasonable and the work is incredible.

Check them out, http://www.illusionsmedia.com

@hypercrazy38:

Have you looked at TheRingBearer.ca??? They’re pretty good! I have a friend who won their Win-A-Ring Contest — $7000 ring anyone?!?!?!?

Anyways, I believe they screen the vendors they promote…found it in their wedding photographers and videographers at a reasonable price. You should check it out.

You should REALLY look into Outside In Studio (http://www.outsideinstudio.com). Their work is amazing and just like Stillmotion’s. I believe their packages are in the $5000 range. Ricardo and Victoria (owners) were with us every step of the way, and gave us an amazing video!

@silly_lily:  How was studio910’s work? Did you like the end result?

We are in the process of looking for photographers and cinematographers and are having a hard time finding the same quality of work as stillmotion but more affordable.
