Hi Bees!
So initially I wanted to be a wedding planner myself but I have given this a try and I think it is HARD and I’m not prepared to go to school for such an overpopulated industry. Does anyone know of any good toronto wedding planners? My friend in September needs one pretty urgently and I’m going to need one as well when I can rangle my ring.
HEP!?

I have an appointment with her next week but this is most likely who I’ll be using…

I also have a reccommendation!
Her name on instagram is: WeddingsInToronto
I don’t know if she has a website but she has been working with my friend on her wedding in SEPTEMBER as well! She has already saved her about $800 and her fee was apparently only $1500. Apparently she is also really amazing at replying and very available for consultations and such but she has weddings almost every weekend in 2015 I think she said she was booking for 2016 and 2017 now?
I also usually recommend: Events by Eliza & Co.
My best friend found her on Kijiji although she also has a facebook page I think? It might have been an instagram as well.. my friend showed it to me a while back. She is SUPER cheap.. $1000 for full planning aparently.
I went to the meetings with my friends to try out consultations for myself and it was a HEADACHE dealing with this stuff. I can’t imagine how these people plan other peoples weddings and I can see why you decided on a career change.

Just an update for you: WeddingsInToronto is AMAZING! She has been answering my every email within 12 hours for the past 4 weeks and I’m not even her client officially yet. I think i’m going to book with her. She also has a 10% off sale going on right now on her instagram. I LOVE HER! Please tell her that Sherry sent you if you talk to her, no discount for me or anything but I want her to know I appreciate her help.

SherryB: thank you. I actually sent her an email late yesterday and she has gotten back to me twice already and her packages are dirt cheap but she has years of experience she said. im really considering her. strongly.
Souzie: thank you. Her website looks astounding but so far out of my price range it is nuts. I wish.

My friend dealt with The Wedding Haven http://www.wedding-haven.com and they are awesome! They have different packages that you can choose from, and that can be adjusted based on your needs! Ask to talk to May – she’s the primary wedding planner.
