So I’m looking into venues right now and nothing is catching my eye!! I dont want the traditional banquet hall style venue or something dark and dated. I have my eye on the gardiner museum however it just seems too small for around 120-140 guests. Any recommendations? I like the look of the gardiner from the tall windows perfect for good lighting and photos and how modern and clean it looks. Is there anything in toronto or within the vicinity of Toronto/scarbs/markham/sauga etc that has something simliar but maybe a larger space? Appreciate the help and any kind of recommendations

Casa Loma does wedding photos in their garden, and in full bloom it’s lovely. I don’t know if they do actual weddings onsite, but the last time I was there to visit, there was a wedding party having photos done.
The Old Mill Inn is pretty. Kind of dark interior though. No idea of the cost.

Try Rosewater, they do up to 400 reception style, with large windows and great natural light.

I was in your same boat about a year ago! Had such a hard time finding something for a large crowd (500). A friend of mine is looking into the Aga Khan museum which looks unique. There’s also the Arlington Estate but I can’t remember how pricey they are. I think I contacted them and they were around 190 a plate or so.
