@johsusan:

hey! I actually live in vaughan but I haven’t checked out any of those places. so far the west river centre gave me the best deal but the associate that works there doesn’t look like she’s interested in helping so my fiancee and I were very turned off by her attitude.

anyway how’s the paramout and le jardin? pricing and venue?

I have a friend who got married in le jardin and her pics looked amazing. the venue and food was good! I haven’t been to paramount.

@johsusan:

Hello!

I went for a meeting/tour with Le Jardin this past weekend and they were fabulous! The venue itself looks incredible and the qoute we received was priced well.  Since you posted, have you visit 1 King West?  I too have considered this venue (looks amazing!) but am concered with price.

Had our wedding at leJardin 4 months ago. Food and staff was excellent. One thing i was not happy after i found out later is that the staff do not get any of the fratuities i paid for. They stayed in the office. So my advice to you is to not prepay the tips with the coordinator and pay it the ame night to the staff yourself or the Maitre’d that night. He will go a long way to make sure it all goes well and it is him that should get it.

Overall everything else was excellent. Pictures also came out beautifull

Also i would recommend to get the in House DJ as an outside Dj will take 50 feet of your dance floor with his setup

@johsusan:  I went to a friend’s wedding at Le Jardin in May. It was beautiful, although the food wasn’t great.

I went to see 1 King West last week with my fiancee, and LOVED IT. The great things about it are that everything is included (no venue fee, cake cutting fee, etc), there is a hotel attatched, and it is beautiful inside and outside! I also LOVE that I would be the only bride on site that day, which wouldn’t happen at The Paramount or Le Jardin.  We put a temporary hold on it, and plan to decide this week!

when we were looking at venues, we looked at le jardin. We were not impressed withthe customer service we recieved, as the sales rep was rude and condescending. They had many rooms, all beautiful.

I don’t know if this helps now, but I’ve worked with 1 King West before and am seriously considering it for my downtown Sept 2013 wedding.

It’s beautiful, and the coordinators there are really, really fantastic.
