Does it need to be in Mississauga?

I got married at the Alton Mill near Orangeville. It was beautiful, very rustic, but still tidy and manicured.

Have a look at Ms Martian’s thread, there are a lot of great venues and info in there too! Black Creek Pioneer Village (seriously!) and Country Heritage Park are also fantastic venues.

For a rustic feel I would definitely second Country Heritage Park.  You might also want to check out Caledon Inn and Terra Cotta Inn.  Both would have a fairly rustic feel.

I love Country Heritage Park.   If you’re willing to go for a slightly longer drive, you could also check out Westfield Heritage Village, by Dundas ON.   Its along the same lines as Black Creek, but I think they’ve done a better job of it.   AND tbey have a SWEET gazebo in the centre of the “village” for photo ops/outdoor wedding.  If you’re looking for rustic, but slightly classier, you could also check out Skyloft.  its on a ski hill  by Port Pery, but they have a really nice venue with a view to die for.   Went to a fall wedding there, and it was definitely one of my favourite locations.  (all the atmosphere of the beams, etc….)

Is Ancaster too far? The Ancaster Old Mill is totally rustic and gorgeous! It has a beautiful waterfall, nice grounds and the food is excellent! i would check it out. I had my engagement brunch there for my family and we were really impressed. I would have booked there but they didnt hold 300 ppl.
