I need some advice from the hive…I am making my own bouquet with button flowers, but I’m not sure what to do for a toss bouquet.
My bouquet has over a hundred stems with flowers out of all-white or clear buttons. I don’t have a picture, but here is a picture of the general idea:
Considering that it has a ton of buttons on it….it is quite heavy. I would like to do a toss bouquet but wanted advice on whether to order a fresh flower bouquet from a local grocery store/florist or create a mini button bouquet.

for our toss bouquet, i made one out of paper flowers!

I think the button one is darling— but dangerous to toss! I would either use paper flowers like suggested above, or have a fresh nosegay made to toss 🙂

I wouldn’t toss the button one – someone could get hurt! I’d either get a small bouquet of real flowers made, or make some paper ones!

I have visions of all the ladies running away when you throw the toss button bouquet for fear of hurting themselves! Or it hitting the ground and smashing into a million pieces! Your bouquet is so cute…what about silk flowers as well? Paper flowers would look great too for a toss.

Use silk flowers and put buttons in the centers…just hot glue them in or something…it’ll tie in, but won’t knock anyone out. 🙂 LOL

All I could think was “Ouch!” I love the button bouquet idea, but I definitely second a paper bouquet for tossing… or like one of the blogging Bees- the ribbon pull or something similar.
