I had a total blond moment at work today, (I’m a natural blond but have been auburn for years).
I am in California. I have a colleague who is waiting on her Washington State Bar result. They come out today and she told us that they are available online at 1:30pm and she’s super nervous. So in front of half our office I ask her, “oh is that 1:30pm California time or Washington time?” Silence and blank stares followed. It took me a good 5 seconds to realize what a stupid question I had just asked. I laughed it off but secretly I was sooooo embarrassed.
Anyone have any spacey moments lately that they want to share?

@Meowkers: Hahaha that’s one of the best ones I’ve heard in a while…thanks for the giggle!
Fiance and I were driving to a store we had never visited before when we passed a liquor store advertising “off-sale” liquor.
Me” “Why would they even put up a sign for that? Do they really need to advertise full-price liquor? Weird.”
He was laughing so hard he never got around to telling me what it means . Help?

@MrsCarnival: No clue what “off-sale” mean. But now I want to know too!

@MrsCarnival: according to Yahoo Answers-
On Sale = besides a liquor store they may have a bar where you can drink alcohol on the premises
Off Sale = Closed Container, you must take the liquor off the site where you purchased it to drink it.

one time at work i checked that door was locked when closing up (a medical clinic) by trying to open the door. The next day my boss informed me that the door wasn’t locked when he got there in the morning. I realized that I had tried to pull the door, instead of pushing it, even though it has the word “push” right on it.
He called me blond and walked away laughing lol

@inspiredcreations: Well then they just gave it a stupid name! They should call it something else so as not to confuse dummies like me
