Ugh, getting married in 2 days and I’m annoyed with our hair and makeup artist. They have a policy that says you have to have all the girls’ hair in hot rollers before they arrive. I don’t understand this and it’s really irritating to me when we’re paying over a thousand dollars for everyone to get their hair and makeup done. Why are we doing their job? Why do I have to go out and buy 3 sets of hot rollers or even try to borrow them, when we have a million other things to do? All I want to do is sit in our nice hotel suite, drink mimosas, and not stress about putting in the hot rollers right or worrying about getting my hair creased because I’m not doing it right. So lame!!!!

@vanessa7: What? That is weird. What if you put them in all wrong?

@vanessa7: This is crazy! Does it state that anywhere in the contract you signed with them? As a person with hard to curl hair, hot rollers would be useless for me and they would have to curl my hair anyway.

@vanessa7: Were you aware of this when you were signing the contract? I definitely wouldn’t have hired that person.

@vanessa7: That’s ridiculous. Sorry they are being ridiculous! Hope you can convince them that you are not doing that and that it’s their job to do your hair.

@vanessa7: Thats crazy. Its their jobs to do your hair. Hence the exchange of currency for hair styling. It is probably too late to try and change, expecially if you gave a down payment. But if you didnt you could call a few other places and see about switching.
The only catch with that (besides the short notice) is that you didnt have a trial run with the new place.
You kind of should have brought this up as an issue earlier. Good luck though!

@vanessa7: I agree this is weird and a hassle. Not to mention, if i had to put in my own hot rollers, i would show up with a bird nest on my head!
