Would you merchandise it or just restock?  Do you talk to customers?

I think it comes down to if you have other job opportunities and how badly you need the money…

Do you need to purchase the product in order to sell it? (like Mary Kay etc..)

I think it’s just mumbo jumbo sales talk for earning more through commission, and “driving your business” to sell a lot. It doesn’t sound like a scam or a pyramid scheme or anything.

I’m sorry, this person does not have a firm grasp on the English language. It is nearly impossible to follow that email!

Are you paid for all of these meetings and conference calls too? This sounds like alot of hassle and time spent for minimum wage.

@mattsgirl813:  I think it might be too.  I remember doing a job like this for Eukenuba when I was in college as a temp (it was like $12/hr no commission) and they basically told me to explain the benefits of the product (um, NEVER gave me any sort of training, just a sales kit and samples) and be cheerful.  Whatever.  I did it two weekends in a row and I was out.  The only cool part was that I was working in a pet store but I don’t even think the pet store employees respected me. lol
