Welcome to the bee πŸ™‚

They are both lovely gowns, but without seeing you in them, I can’t help you. Do you have any pictures of you in them?

First off, don’t panic.  πŸ™‚  It’ll be ok.  When I was shopping for a dress I felt the same way.  There weren’t any tears or big dramatic moments for me when I found a wedding dress.  I just felt calm, like ‘phew, i don’t have to try on any more dresses’.  Personally I like the style of the second dress better, but you should go on how you felt in the dress.

That makes it really hard. If you are really small, either one would work well on you. If you have an hour glass shape, I think the second one would work best. If you are more straight, then I think the first one would work best. I know others’ might disagree with me, but I am just basing my thoughts on what I though looked best on me, since I can’t see you. I have an hour glase shape, so I would go for the second one. I would also go for the second one because; although I think that pickups look very nice, I am very type “A” and would be constantly rearranging them the whole day, so they would be a distraction for me. See if you can try a few more on and also try these on again. I don’t know if you took anyone with you when you tried your gowns on, but sometimes if you go by yourself, you can get a better idea of what gowns will look best because you aren’t distracted by other people. Also, be open to other styles.

I like the WTOO a lot, it’s a clear winner in my mind!!  But I guess it’s because I really dislike pick-ups on the other dress.

I don’t think everyone has that “OMG thats the dress” moment… some people are more logical and calm about it, there is nothing wrong with that.  Sometimes it might just help to shop a bit more to make sure there isn’t something you like better, at least then you’d know… and if you dont find anything, go back and try on those ones and see how you feel again πŸ™‚

@heathmarie29: You are very welcome. Based on your size and “hips”, I think the first gown would work best for you. It would accentuate you in all the right places. I would make sure to try it on again though, and if you haven’t already done so, try it on with a couple different styles of veils. Sometimes a veil can make all the difference.

Maybe you should track down those dresses at another store that allows photos… honestly that was a dealbreaker for me with many stores.. something can look so good on, and then in photos, you notice things you wouldn’t have otherwise.  I think its important to see yourself in photos in the dress too.  Especially since you seem concerned about that, and quickly vetoed other dresses from photos of you in it.

I made sure to only buy my dress from a store that would allow photos… I can’t stand that dumb rule.

I like the wtoo a  lot b/c i am not a fan off pick-ups. I think they are the lace sleeves of this decade, but it is all in what everyone likes.
