Ok, so my SO and I went looking at rings the other day and I like two different rings. I am torn right down the middle, because I love them both! I know it’s ultimately his decision, but I just want some opinions, pros/cons of each ring, etc. Since I began looking I always thought I wanted a round solitaire w/ pave band because they are timeless, look elegant and so sparkly! However, when we went to try rings on, I was really drawn to the halo style as well.
They are both from The Shane Co and that is where my SO will be buying from.
Option 1: Diamond wedding set w/ pave band with Round center stone (In the pic it’s the engagement ring and band, just so you know that’s not a gap or the style of the ring). Item #41045049 if you want to check it out on Shane Co website.
Option 2: Halo Diamond w/Pave band with Princess cut center stone. Item # 41045619 on Shane Co site.
Let me know what your fave is! I can’t decide!!! It’s driving me crazy! He’s buying the ring in like a few days so time is of the essence my friends! Also…does anyone have any insight or opinions on a cushion cut vs a princess cut in the halo setting?

I personally like the first one.

…it’s so hard to make a good recommendation without seeing your hands…any help with a picture of those?

I prefer the second but that’s b/c I am a halo girl myself and more of a fan of princess and cushion cuts. However, the first one is very pretty but personally more drawn to the second!

What is your finger size? What are the stone sizes you are looking at? How much coverage are you wanting?

# 2… Beacause it kinda looks like mine! 🙂

@jsimp12: I like the first one too. It is timeless. If you ever want a halo later on, it can always be added to it.

#1 is pretty much my exact ring! And I LOOOOOVE my ring! 🙂

First one. Simple, less crevices for dirt to hide = easier to keep clean. Prong set easier to clean under than channel set.
…and it looks just like mine 🙂

second. might wanna add a poll ?

They’re both beautiful… I can’t help you decide, but my ring is pretty similar and I have a cushion centre
and here it is with a princess centre, this a stock photo from xHeidyx, another Bee.

O I LOVVE the first one. Timeless and classic, and just totally beautiful. You won’t go wrong with either, but I really, really love the first one.
