- Wedding: August 2011
I’m close to my aunt’s family in China and she promised to come to my wedding. Her family has been to the US many times before to travel or teach so I thought it would not be an issue. However, she’s retired now so it might be harder to get a visa(they like to see that you have a good job back home). I was thinking of sending a letter (invitation letter to the wedding) for them to show the immigration officer when they apply for a visa. Do I address this to the officer? Any tips so I increase the chance of them getting the visa? Another bee said it’s better if they just say they want to go to Disneyland. Is that true?
