Town cars are nice but not much roomier than a sedan.  What about renting a bigger SUV? They can come with drivers too.

I only had two bridesmaids, so we did this. The Town Car picked us up at the hotel, dropped us off at the chapel, and waited until the ceremony and pictures were done, at which point it drove us to the reception. It worked out really well because we only needed room for 3 people max, and the backseat was plenty big enough for my dress and I didn’t feel squashed or uncomfortable at all. There was no need for a full limo as I wasn’t going to see the groom before the wedding, so we didn’t need room for him and the groomsmen to ride over with us, and I wanted the car to be just us two on the way to the reception so we’d have a little time alone post-ceremony. I believe it cost us $215 for 3 hours, plus a $40 tip, so about $250 total. Not bad at all! I’d recommend it.

@NJmeetsBX:

Well, my Maid/Matron of Honor rode to the reception with her boyfriend, who had driven to the ceremony to attend. My sister, who was my other bridesmaid, rode with her boyfriend, who was our other groomsman, and our best man had driven himself and the groom to the ceremony beforehand, so he drove himself over to the reception afterward.

We opted for a town car to take us to our hotel after the reception. Getting to the venue (both ceremony and reception are held at the same place) wouldn’t be an issue since we plan on taking first look shots first and can have our photographer drive us to the venue.

I rented a Cadillac from Hertz.  One of my bridesmaids drove us to the church and my hubs drove me to the reception.  I did feel like I was “stuffed” into the car, but I think I would’ve felt that no matter what.  Initially I wanted an XTerra, but the rental company didn’t have one at the last minute and got me a white Cadillac instead. My BMs got rides with family to the reception, and the groomsmen had hubby’s truck.

The night before the wedding, we planted my bridesmaids cars at the receptino site so they were able to drive off afterwards!

@NJmeetsBX:

Our hotel was only about a mile down the riverfront from where our after party was, and our best man drove us down there in his Hummer. Easy as could be!
