Since the Sept 1st brides are exactly 100 days away from their weddings (and the rest of us Septemberites are not far off), I thought I’d start a thread for those keeping track of RSVPs. In August, I’m sure this will turn into a rant thread for missing RSVPs haha.
Here are my stats, screengrabbed from The Knot:
Of the 5 I’ve gotten back, only 1 was from a wedding party member. However, we already had two that were incorrectly filled out. One person put only his name on the line and wrote down two guests. Now, I know he’s bringing his girlfriend of 4 years, but he didn’t write her name down. The funniest by far is the one from the wedding party. He accidentally forgot to check any boxes. Now, we know he’s attending… he’s a groomsmen. Sometimes the simplest things are the hardest haha.

@MrsBroccoli: Date twin! I’m at 38 yes, 5 no, and 115 invited (72 haven’t replied yet). We sent ours out early because we have a bunch of out of town guests that had been requesting them.

We have 37 yes, 4 no (but all the same family), 101 invited. None of those are wedding party.

I haven’t sent my wedding invites yet. But we just got the first RSVP for my shower! It was a no, but it’s alright because I really don’t even know who the person is. I think she’s my dad’s cousin.

my goodness…you sept 8th girls make me feel so far behind…I’m not planning on sending out invites for a few weeks…

@Miss Orchard: Don’t feel too bad…I just got done finalizing my guest list!!!

I just ordered mine! I thought I didn’t know I should already be sending them out. Ugh.

- Wedding: September 2012 - Schloss Heiligenberg/ Spearfish Canyon Lodge
We’ve just started to receive some RSVPs. We’re still far off from the deadline, so I don’t have to hassle people about it. We know of many more yes/no than we have received cards yet. As per our official RSVP tally, we have 7 nos and 2 yesses.

@Fall_In_Love22: Glad I am not the only one who has not sent out invites yet. Going out at the end of July hope all goes well with that.

I just finished making my invite this weekend. I don’t plan on sending them out for another month. Gives me plenty of time to assemble them and live all the envelopes and number the rsvp cards.

Yikes, this makes me feel behind, too. Mine are going out by 7/1. It’s getting so close!

Got my first Decline on Friday! I knew she wouldn’t be able to make it (health issues), so it wasn’t depressing or anything. I am also learning that a lot of people are allergic to seafood. Had no idea…
Also, FI’s cousins are coming! This is super exciting since Future Mother-In-Law was acting all know-it-all-ish, “Oh, the cousins absolutely won’t be coming.” Well, their RSVP says otherwise! =)

@hardtoconcentrate: Same here! This post made me nervous. I’m glad I’m not the only one who hasn’t sent them out yet.

Ahh! I’m a Sept 1 bride and my invites aren’t going out until next week probably! Gotta get on that.

42% have RSVPed! Sure, it’s still earlyish but with all this instant gratification, why not? I did just hear from one relative that she never got an invitation, which makes me a bit panicky, but I think that it may have just gone to her neighbors. Thankfully I have loads of spares. =)
