Me too!  Our wedding is in December.  I’m currently designing a program for it that will contain the Propers and the Nuptial Blessing so that the attendees can follow along with the program and the red booklet missalette.

We are implementing some parts of the TLM and will have certain parts in latin. A lot of family members are fallen away Catholic or Baptist so we don’t want to completely alienate them, but we want to woo them with the beauty of the TLM ๐Ÿ˜‰

@kacmcg7:  I don’t think they do, but that’s on my list of questions for Father when we meet with him again next week!  It would be fantastic if we could borrow a box or two from the church if they had them.  I wanted to create programs that contained the entire Nuptial Mass, but no matter how much I tweaked the formatting, I was looking at a well-over-20-page program…bit out of budget, to say the least, and I hated the idea of having all that thrown away at the end of the day.

@kacmcg7:  Yes! When I told my Fiance that we could “consider” the option of not having a Mass, he flipped. Hahaha.

SQUEEEE!

My fiance and I met our priest for one of our premarital counseling sessions on Saturday.  At the end of the FOCCUS test discussion, he asked us if we’d “like” a Solemn High Nuptial Mass!

SQUEEEEEE!

We said yes.  Several times, in fact.  ๐Ÿ˜€  Mind you, we were happy enough to be marrying in the Extraordinary Form, but this absolutely puts us over the moon!

*happy dance, happy dance*
