We have chosen a very traditional invitation with all of the text and design on the front, but it folds. Does anyone know the point of this or why it used to be like this? I assumed it was to stick the response card and reception card and other information in, but that is apparently not the case!

Can you post a picture? Not sure what you mean.

I haven’t seen ones with the invitation on the front. Usually the invitation information is on the inside like in this one: http://photocardchef.com/products/Unique-Folded-Wedding-Invitations.html
This way you can put something special on the front like a picture or a monogram. Maybe you can do the reverse and put a picture on the inside. Is there any other information you want to give like directions or accomodations? Could this go on the inside instead of a loose card?
