I don’t think it’s too “out there” at all.

You should pick the one that you and Fiance are in love with.  Dont stop yourself from picking something because you think that someone might not like it.  We are having cheesecake for our wedding cake and if someone doesn’t like it, oh well.

I like the second one the best.  I wouldn’t tone down your wedding cake to please others — get the cake you and your love want.  <3

In no way is #1 too untraditional!  I love it, and if its your style, then go for it!

If you’re torn, you can always do a groom’s cake, but I don’t think there is anything wrong with a non-traditional wedding cake.

I love all of them! I really like #1 the best, very unique for a wedding cake.

I prefer the other two, but I don’t think the first one is bizarre or anything.  I feel like most guests never even see the cake anyway.  I only remember one cake from all the weddings I’ve been to…and that was just because it was my brother’s wedding and they had immediate family seated near the sweetheart table, which was close to the cake table.

(I worded that in a very convoluted way, but oh well lol)

I don’t think the first cake is ‘out there’, if you want it, that’s what you should have.

I’m also having an earthy, tree-y wedding, so we’ve gone off the traditional white fruitcake path, and onto chocolate. Because it’s our wedding, so we can have what we like!

Have what you want!
