I’ve had both – I really don’t see much of a difference.

Except with the coverage on my chest and back to help cover my acne a bit. For that – you can’t beat the airbrush. But you have to tell her you need that up front because it requires different colors. 

I don’t think you can go wrong, so try to just go with your gut.

my makeup artist said for me to go with regular makeup.  She said she can make it last just as long.  Airbrush is recommended if you have scars or acne. Hope This Helps

I’ve had both, and prefer traditional. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and it does not react well to airbrush foundation.

I have only done traditional makeup for many of the brides I have worked for and they never complained about traditional makeup. I use a great setting spray that is smudgeproof and workes wonders for weddings and in all weather conditions. I recently did a makeup trial for a bride who had acne scars on face, but I covered it very well with traditional makeup and she was very happy with the results. If a makeup artist is using Ben Nye and Graftobian those are great in terms of long lasting and matte foundation etc.
