I’ve been narrowing down my ceremony music choices and so for right now, I”m thinking:
prelude- jesus joy
precession- trumpet tune
me- canon in D
I’m stuck on the recessional and possibly unity candle song… i don’t really want to do the typical bridal march… any suggestions? Thanks!

I’m sorry buit I have no idea for a good recessional song, but I just wanted to say YA to Cannon in D! I’m walking down the isle to that one too 🙂 It’s the only on I have picked out so far, lol.

My selections for our string quartet:
Processional: Moonlight Serenade (Glenn Miller)
Bride: Air on the G String (Bach)
Sand ceremony: Meditation from Thais (Massenet)
Recessional : Rondo Alla Turca (Mozart)
I’m still undecided on the recessional as well. I’ve never seen it used as recessional and Fiance doesn’t think it’s a wedding song; but I love the piece, I think it’s upbeat to fit the mood, not as overused as the wedding march, plus I’m Turkish!

How about “Ode to Joy” for a recessional?

The most traditional recessional song is:
The wedding march by Mendelssohn

@ DJones6005 Thanks for those links they are very helpful. I’ve just decided I’m going to have the duet of the song “House hold of faith” sung during the unity candle. I love WB so inspirational and all of you bees are so helpful….
