I have a vertical anti tragus, can’t lie, it hurt! However it healed better and faster than any cartilage piercing I’ve ever had!

zoraneale :  I do! I’ve had it for five years, no issues. My other cartilege pericings hurt more and took longer to heal. I work in a law firm and no one has said a word or even noticed as far as I know.

I have mine pierced.  Have had it for about 15 years.  When I first got it pierced, the piercer said mine was too small and recommended against it.  I really wanted it, and my mom gave permission so they pierced it.  It ended up tearing and ripped out.  It’s small and not very noticeable.  I got it repierced further up, and have not had a single problem since.  Also, they make flat backed earrings that don’t poke.  I only used flat backs for all my earrings, I have 17.

I’ve had mine about 2 years now. It did hurt getting it done but after less than a minute it was gone. But the massive down side is it can take a very very long time to heal, even after 2 years mine causes me problems and can hurt. So as pretty as it is, you really have to be ready to look after it.

I just got mine done a couple of months ago. Definitely hurt, definitely heard a distinct crunch when the needle went through. It felt like someone had punched me right in the ear the next few hours (but I also got my daith done the same day as well). It still is uncomfortable to sleep on that side of my face and will take a while to fully heal. That being said, I think it’s worth it and I like the look of it!

Mine didn’t hurt at all and there was no crunch. It’s been tricky healing it though. It was fine for the first month or two but is playing up again.
