I’m actually using school buses from First Student, they’re MUCH more reasonable than the charter buses (about $300 each for us). Since the price is SO much less we can actually have more buses rather than one bus making multiple trips. I’ve been a guest at a couple weddings where you wait for AGES for the shuttle to make a roundtrip and it’s super frustrating (at one wedding even the bride was complaining).

I think the buses will be kind of fun / retro too so I don’t mind not having a super nice coach shuttle, but it depends on what you’re looking for.

First Student has an office in Norwalk – I’d be happy to put you in touch!

@futuremrsgreenbean:  I’m doing the school bus thing too.  Much more reasonable and for me the hotel and venue are about a half-mile apart.  I can’t see spending the money on fancier transportation for such a short distance.

I’m a bit late.. but First Student was brilliant for us! They charged us about $60 an hour with a two hour minimum. Our driver was lovely and shared all sorts of trivia facts about the area.
