We wanted a party bus to transport our guests, but it wasn’t in our budget. They wanted $1200 to drop our guests off, and pick them up at the end of the night. They wanted $800 for the limo as well, so we won’t be doing that either.

We had a limo to and from the site where we took pics and from the church to the venue. It was just wedding party only. The only person that got to ride to and back from our picture site was the photographer.

Our hotel, welcome dinner, ceremony, reception and thank you brunch were all in one location with 90% of our guests traveling from out of town, so there wasn’t any need for us to hire transportation.  For our wedding party, we rented a car and all other local guests drove their own cars (free parking at our venue).

Since our venues are both about 40 minutes out from the city, we’re hiring a limo (I cringe at the price tag of $800 but Fiance wanted it) for us and the bridal party, since we have a small party.  We also get a late night pickup for the two of us.
