What about a sedan? They are usually cheaper than a limo. Could your photog take you perhaps (if you have that job of relationship)?

Could you share more background about your situation?  Do either of you own a car?  Then you could drive yourselves…

How about convincing your Future Mother-In-Law to convice the friend with the cars to let you all borrow the car. That way your Fiance could drive you all to the reception. I could be his wedding gift to you all.

Offer to pay you FMIL’s friend. That way he won’t be the only friend attending but he’ll be a vendor. Hopefully that will help convince your Future Mother-In-Law that it is okay and keep her friends from being offended.

I wouldn’t ask the photographer for a ride. Horribly unprofessional!

Limos and car services are on Groupon all the time.  Have you signed up to see if you can get a deal?  Also tippr, living social, groupalicious…. tons of “deal of the day” type services.

I also found a lot of limo companies with package minimums. But I kept looking and found hourly rates. Have you tried asking? Even if they don’t advertise hourly rate they might still do it.

@BrandNewBride:  Oh, silly guys.  Your dress will fit!  If it were me, I’d say take the Focus, or check out deal-of-the-day sites like @fishbone:  suggested.  🙂

Well would your Future Mother-In-Law be willing to pay the $400? LOL
