- Wedding: December 2011
My wedding is in December in Lincoln Park, Chicago. About 75 people will be from Chicago or the suburbs and about 75 people will have flown in and will likely stay downtown.
The ceremony is a mile away from the reception. It seems such a short ride to pay the money to rent a bus or trolley. It also does not seem reasonable to assume women in dresses and heels from warmer climates will walk a mile in December.
The reception venue offers valet at $20/car. That also seems expensive.
Should I set up transportation for out of town guests? If so, any suggestions?
Should I pay for the valet for those who drive? Is it rude not to?
