Another option I’ve seen is buying a 2nd MUCH Cheaper dress and using it as the TTD dress.

i bought my dress already knowing i wanted to do a ttd. although i think we’re going for more of the rock the dress than straight out trashing it – although who knows what we feel like that day. bottom line, the photos and video that we get out of the trash the dress (or rock the dress) session is worth way way more to me than the actual dress itself. to each their own 🙂

I’m planning on doing a trash the dress because I like the idea…Not of actually “trashing” my dress but of wearing it again and having pictures taken of it in a different atmosphere.  As krissycake wrote above  – I see it more of a “rock the dress” shoot than a trash the dress shot.

My best friend did TTD pics, but she didn’t by any means ruin her dress. A few weeks after they got back from their honeymoon, she had a photog come and take pictures of her riding her horse in her wedding dress. The pics were Uh-May-Zing!

I don’t plan on ever ruining my dress, but I’ll definetly do some “artistic” or “rock the dress” pics. I might even steal her idea and ride my horse in my dress, just cause the pics my BF took were so great.

I like the Idea “Trash the dress”. It’s definitely something different you will remember. As mentioned, I think the best way to do it is not trashing your dress, but wear it again for some amazing pictures. Not something like that 🙂

I prefer soemthing like this:

Have a great day.
