I’m having our fiance call the resort.

We are a month away from ours, so hopefully it should all be resolved by then.  From what I understand, most of the activity is taking place in and around Kingston, and not so much the perimeter of the island.

Planes are not flying into and out of Kingston, but MB is supposed to be okay.

If I get any info from my Fiance after he talks to the resort, I’ll let you all know!

Here’s the thing-

The part of Jamaica that is experiencing issues is Kingston. Kingston is about 3 hours away from Montego Bay.

If you’re going to Jamaica, you’re most likely staying in Montego Bay, Negril, or Ocho Rios. All of these destinations are hundreds of miles, and several hours apart from eachother.

We have clients in Negril right now. They’ve sent a couple of emails, saying that they’re having a great time. If it weren’t for the news, they would never know there’s an issue.

It’s definately worth keeping an eye on. But I don’t expect it to have a negative effect on those traveling through the Montego Bay airport.
