I know nothing about Baltimore but I’ve flown a lot. Give him some gum or lifesavers to help pop his ears. A couple good books or a DVD for the laptop always helps. Oh and bring your own earphones so you don’t have to buy the terrible $5 ones from the flight attendant. I always pack a snack since airplane food is generally not good and if it’s not free, it costs and fortune. He’ll be fine! Hope he has fun!

For me, it always helps calm my flying nerves to remember the science/physics of how the plane actually stays in there air! If he doesn’t know how it works maybe look it up together online.

are you going with him? i went with my fi on his first ever plane ride last year! (crazy! i’ve been all around the world and he’s never flown either, i couldn’t believe it!) what kept him sane was just to keep him busy, to talk to him when the plane was taking off and to keep his mind off of everything.

i can’t think of anything about baltimore…except that’s where hairspray takes place and now i have that song in my head. “good morning baltimore!”
