im a new bee. i have been engaged for a lil over a year. Fiance and i have been looking for a e-ring upgrade and im pretty sure im going with a moissanite. The setting is where i cant decide.
Fiance says tiffanys thin band settin looks too flimsy but n da pictures ive seen it looks gorgeous but then again i havent tried on a thin setting.
I also liked the trellis lucerne because its a bit thicker but the hard part would be picking my band.
If you have either or just want to post a pic of ur ering please do i love seeing rings!!
My current e-ring is halo paved and has .50 center, totalling in 1.27

I don’t have either of the types you’re looking for, but wanted to say your current set is so gorgeous! 🙂

I think I have a 6-prong tiffany style solitaire. I haven’t had any problems with stability, and have slammed my hand a few times (accident prone) with no damage to the ring.

I’m a big fan of the Vatche-style trellis settings, but then the Tiffany style has never been my personal taste.

I loooove your current setting, but if I had to choose between the two you’re thinking of, I’d go for the Tiffany classic.

thank you soo much, i love it too but ever since i had my babygirl i feel in dire need of an upgrade lol, since my current one has alot of bling i kind of just want a solitaire and the focus on the main stone. im just really decidious when it comes to the setting and i wont be getting an upgrade until a couple of years so i want to make the best of it hehe
id appreciate any e-ring pix 😉

I might be slightly biased because I have a Tiffany Lucida, but go for the trellis. It’s still classic without being completely expected.

I don’t think you can go wrong with either one. The Tiffany is timeless, classic, and more versatile, since you can pair it with anything.
Trellises are beautiful with those swingy prongs. Because they tend to be a thicker band, I like them better as 3 stone rings than solitaires. Both styles are beautiful, though!
