Okay, so Im new to the hive, but I just wanted to get some opinions on a ring i have been drooling over for the past 6 months now. It is rose gold, yellow gold and white gold all in one setting. I want that “one of a kind” ring but I also dont want it to be too out of the ordinary. Has anyone seen a ring like this before? and if so, what was your opinion of it? Sorry the pictures are a bit blurry. The ouside bands are white gold, middle band is rose and the halo is yellow. And the stone isnt set in, it was just placed there for the pictures 🙂

It’s lovely, but how high is it set? With all that pave would that be an issue?

I think that ring is fabulous, and this sort of thing would normally not be my style – it’s gorgeous! If you love it, go for it. It is unique and it definitely makes a statement. People are going to have mixed opinions, but all that really matters in the end is that it feels right to you.

@SnurfMurph86: I would say its a little higher than normal but nothing that would cause too many issues. Im a bank teller so pretty much any ring I wear will take a beating 🙁

@starla: Thank you 🙂 I have had my eyes on this one for a while now!

It’s really unique and a lot of bling- looks awesome!!

Where would you fit a wedding band? It’s nice for a RHR though.

I really don’t like rings where the center stone sticks up out of the halo instead of being nestled in it. So my honest opinion is that I really dislike it. The girdle of the stone should be almost flush with the halo – at most 1-1.5mm above it. Not like a centimeter, agh. That part hurts my eyes.
HOWEVER, I love that the halo is yellow gold, the center band is rose, and the flanking bands are white gold. THAT is awesome. I’d just probably have it remade so the halo is correct.
(In terms of the stone position on the halo… see how it looks different? It’s MUCH better looking imo. The halo that is flush with the band while the stone sticks up in a peg head just looks cheap to me.)

I think it’s cute though I don’t like the tri bands. But if it’s your style and you’ve been drooling overit, get it 🙂

I love the idea of an engagement ring with tri- gold That way, as you age, no matter what the current fashion is with gold (ie white/ yellow etc) you can always accessorize and still have it match your e-ring.
