(Closed) Tricky email wording!

wouldn’t have thought so, have you sent your thank you letters? I’d ether do an immediate request straight after the wedding, or wait until the thank yous are done so people don’t think this email contains a very informal thank you.

“Thanks for attending our wedding! We’d love to see any awesome pictures you took while you were there. Please feel free to tag us in them or send them to ____.”

I mean, I wouldn’t put too much thought into it. People love to share pictures they took, Im surprised they haven’t all put them on Facebook yet.

It might be nice to set up a drop box or similar file sharing folder where everyone can see everyone else’s pictures as well.

mrstopaz :  I would just send an email saying something like “DH and I had such a wonderful day, thank you for celebrating with us! We’d love to relive the day through photos – if you took any you’d like to share, you can email them to me at this address”

But to echo PP, be sure you send out your hand written thank you notes as well!

You can also email smaller groups of friends so it’s a little more personal than a mass bcc and then ask them to share any photos they may have with you?
