I just bought this picture frame last night and it is covered in glitter.
I love the frame but the problem is that the glitter keeps falling off. Does anyone have any tricks they know that work for keeping the glitter on? It won’t be touched much since it will just be on display but I’d like the keep the glitter from going everywhere every time I have it out. Thanks!

@FutureMrsMeinhardt: I would use a spray on acrylic sealer (similar to what they use for chalk drawings). I think Krylon makes one.

I used spray on glitter (like spray paint) and then used the spray on sealer. we used it on champagne glasses and it worked better than any of the other paints I tried.

@FutureMrsMeinhardt: a gloss top coat like Triple Thick works wonders. If the glitter is loose, do not spray paint it, as it will blast off the glitter. Use a really soft brush (not a foam one) and go over just once.
Glossy modge podge works too. Or even a 1/2 mix of water/glue–but you may lose some of shine with the latter mixture.

I made my cake topper (lots and lots of glitter) brushing modgepod over it; helped everything… it sparkles like crazy; but its super smooth and not gritty:) and nothing falls off;) it’s amazing!! Good luck! (cute picture frame!)
