Alright y’all, I’m confused. So, I went to try on rings because I’ve never actually done that/ wanted to see what different carat weights look like on me! That said, I don’t think the girl helping me knew what she was talking about lol I told her I wanted to see 1.5-1.75 rounds. With the following information, let me know what you think:
The solitaire is 1.15 while she claimed the pave was 1.8. That’s the smallest 1.8 I’ve ever seen if so! My finger is a 5.75. I’m thinking the total weight is 1.8 and the center stone is actual 1.21 per the ticket (included below). What are y’alls thoughts?
One more example against the 1.15, ticket for the 3 stone below as well

catqueen92 : It doesn’t matter all that much as my ring is purchased, but I was really hoping to see what something around it’s size (1.63 carats) would look like!

Save yourself some time and try ordering some examples from berricle. You can send them back if you don’t like them. But that may give you the best way to see what you love 🙂

Yeah, I’m thinking the 1.8 is the totat carat weight – not the center stone

It either means 1.8 TCW or 1.8 mm wide shank

I would assume the first number is the center stone and the second number on the tag is the total carat weight?

Looking at both tickets, I’d say the1.8 is TCW.

I agree and I think the 1.8 was TCW.
However, I really like the size of all of those center stones with your hands. I know it sounds like you’d’ prefer larger but those rings are gorgeous as well!

I actually like the 1.15 best! It looks like the perfect amount of finger coverage.
If your ring has already been purchased and you’re just looking for a size, I would go to a smaller/local jeweler rather than the mall. Or you can get the mm measurement and compare it with a moissy size chart.
It will be here soon!!!

sarathemermaid : whitecollarbee : thank you ladies! I was actually really surprised with how large the ~1 carats looked on me! No complaints, but yes, the ring is already in productions. I’m disappointed I didn’t get to see any that were around the size I will have, but it actually put me a lot at ease seeing what I did! More excited than anxious ATM. Hoping it lasts! Lol
