And I hate it. I mean absolutely hate it, so much I broke down crying. I have no idea what happened. I loved it and was so obessed with it til I bought it, then obessed about it til it came in and brought her home. I would steal peeks at her whenever I could. Got my shoes so my suggested I try them on with my dress and walk around for a bit. Now I wish I hadn’t.
Everything I love about her I now hate. The beading (too close to the bust), the satin (too heavy) ruching (doesn’t lay flat) *sigh* so sad now. I shamelessy hung her back in the closet and slowly walked away.
Just hoping this is a phase I’m going through right now. It happens right? I’m not crazy right? My mom told me to suck it up and get over it, “its just a dress after all”. She was supposed to be the perfect dress and now she isn’t. Boo!

Is it “that” time of the month? I hate EVERYTHING at “that” time of the month. Also, everything makes me cry.

It could just be a phase. If you’ve been looking at a lot of wedding dresses lately, it’s easy to start comparing your dress to others. Try to remember what you liked about it to begin with. I’m sure there was a reason you bought it.

@ViaMinorViator – nope, not due for that gift for another 2 weeks.
@Bichon Frise – I stopped looking at wedding dresses so I wouldn’t get dress regret, I still think she’s beautiful but for some reason I’m not happy with her right now.

do you have a pic of you in it, I’m sure the rest of us can assure you that you still look beautiful in it 🙂

Do you have your wedding day undergarments (slip, bra, etc) on? I tried mine on at home without those items and was not pleased, but when I went to my first fitting & had all the appropriate garments on, it was love all over again!

It’s a really beautiful dress, no doubt. Sleep on it for a bit and then try it on at another time. If you still really hate it then you have more than enough time to find another…don’t fret!

@Miss Orchard -Thanks! Mr Heath told me if I absolutely hate it then I can get a new dress. Glad he agreed since I pay for it, hehe. I’ll probably give it a week or two try it back on and see what happens.
@nycbrde2011 – thanks! I have been obessed with it since day one up until today. maybe its just an off day for me hehe.

Try your dress on next week. I bet you’ll love it. 🙂

I’m going through the same thing! Just posted a similar thread, but with opposite problems, lol. I’m worried because my dress does lay smooth and isn’t ruched… and that mine is not fitted and everyone loves fitted.
I think your dress is beautiful! I love all the features of it! Many brides seem to go through this 🙁 It would be so much easier if we could have 3 days of weddings in a row so we could wear all the dress styles, lol.
