I really like the second ring, it seems to make a bigger statement. More clean. But both are lovely.

I prefer the marquis, I think it looks more proportionate to your hand.

Love the marquis! I can’t get past the asymmetry of pears as a general rule, though. I love the fresh take on a marquis. Usually they are 80s-tastic but I love that one.

Neither is particularly my style, but of the 2, I think I much prefer the pear.  It looks bigger, looks more unique, pretty!

I don’t usually like marquis stones, but holy cow that ring is gorgeous! However, I voted for the pear because that is obviously the one you love. If you got “the feeling” then go with your heart! Both of the rings are stunning so you can’t choose wrong πŸ™‚

Really not a fan of marquis cuts in general. The pear is STUNNING and gorgeous! That one got my vote for sure! πŸ™‚

Very nice options you found!! Both rings are beautiful and unique-looking. I prefer the pear. Looks great on your finger and it has “wow bling”! I’m a person who likes comfort and am a relaxed person, and I do enjoy my blingy engagement ring!! It’s also a double halo, but with a plain shank. I’m really glad I went with a large setting because I love the look of it.

The marquise ring might be the first marquise ring I find has a modern look. They are a more dated diamond, when considering fashion. But this setting is amazing.

    I pick pear!!!

Here’s my double halo for reference:

I was originally looking at a pear or marquise diamond halo  engagement ring…..

Love the pear more… IDK the setting for the marquise just looks a little off to me….

I tried on a double halo pear ring (almost identical yo the neil lane) but it was just too cumbersome and big for me to wear everyday….loved it though!!

Lucky girl!! which ever you pick will be fab!

I agree the pear one is stunning πŸ™‚ Can’t go wrong with it! It suits your hand perfectly !! Congratulations πŸ™‚

I am unable to find what I am looking for where I am so I have been looking online, however am nervous about purchasing. Does anyone have a positive experience buying either their e-ring or their gem online?

I would really appreciate knowing where from if you do πŸ™‚ thanks!

@cirk:  I prefer the marquise because it’s a bit smaller, which I prefer; I don’t like very big rings. But, it sounds like you prefer the pear, in which case I’d get that one πŸ™‚

I LOVE pears but the double halo looks too chunky to me. That is a beautiful setting for a marquise so that got my vote!
