I think the drop waist shape is lovely on you. Not a fan of the ribbon floral appliqués.

shawna.darling4:  You should have added a poll, otherwise you are probably just going to get the affirmatives responding.

I will be brave and tell you what I would if I was your friend because I think for most women the dress is the most important accessory they buy for the wedding. But remember that if you love it what does anyones opinion matter? And that dresses/clothing is really subjective when talking aout likes and dislikes.

But I think you can do better. I think that there is a better dress out there for you. I like the shape/style of the dress on you but it is the decoration that throws it off for me. it seems bulky/clumsy.

There are some eagle eyed bees on here who might suggest a similar dress.

I don’t care for it at all. The shape isn’t very flattering and I don’t like floral appliqués. I think IF you get a dress over your budget it should blow you away.

I’m not a fan.  They flowers on it look sort of childish to  me, and I do not think the top flatters you. I’m not a fan of drop-waist in general, but I haven’t seen other dresses on you to compare.  Have you tried a slim a-line or trumpet? I think those would suit your body well.

I like the fit on you but the floral appliques from far away look like boils/growths all over. That was my first impression. It’s not natural looking!

I saw a similar dress in the same fit that I was in love with I can’t remember who it was by…. I want to say watters/wtoo but I’m probably wrong.

I think it looks amazing on your body. However, I do not like the flower appliques. It seems very juvenile.

If you really love it and can see yourself walking down the aisle in it, then no one else’s opinion should matter.

I love the shape of the dress but the larger flowers seem like an afterthought.

It’s nice, but I think you could find something better. It kind of reminds me of a wedding cake, with those appliques. Do you have any pics of the other dresses?

The shape is really pretty on you! I’d love to see a more pronounced sweetheart neckline and the appliqué flowers aren’t my fav. All things considered, Id say there’s a better one out there for you that’s on budget!

Honest, I don’t think the top flatters you very well. It doesn’t lend much definition to your bust line and almost looks boxy? Which I didn’t think was possible with a sweetheart neckline, but that really isn’t much of a sweetheart neckline. The dress is gorgeous, and I love the details! But I think you could find better. And perhaps something that won’t break your budget.
