My niece was married in Jamaica, I looked and I don’t have a pic of her flowers but this pic is the clossest thing I could find.  Her girls wore yellow strapless short dresses and the Flower Girl was in yellow and pink.  She didn’t want something she would have to hold.  Also they were fake so we could carry them in the suitcases to the wedding 😀

ooh i have one that i love and im planning to use (though i dont know about the difference in flowers between mexico where im having mine and jamaica)

then ill tie it in with centrepieces, as ill have orange pink and yellow flowers in vases with a candle BUT not the flowers below. as orchids are madly expensive and unfortunately not in the budget

And my bridesmaids are wearing blue (sapphire blue by dessy). mainly because i chose the dresses before the flowers

EDIT – im sorry. i keep trying but the stupid second picture wont go smaller! i make it small, i press post, and somehow it grows!!

I originally wanted a Destination Wedding in The Bahamas somewhere but my parents and husband really wanted a traditional wedding here so I made my weding as tropical as you could get in Ohio haha.

Here is a pic. I had hot pink  and orange roses, Star Gazers and some other kind of Lilly in oranage and yellow.

And here are my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses with their bouquets which were just smaller versions of mine

I’m not sure our flowers were that tropical, but I kinda got that vibe. Married in Hawaii.

I’m having a tropical destination wedding next year and I’m getting real touch silk flower bouquets made. I choes to have fake ones so I would be able to have exactly the colours I wanted and I also wanted to be able to keep by bouquet forever. They are primarily made up of orchids and plumerias

ooh im loving these pictures!

with mine it took me ages to get out of an english frame of mind…as in, traditional english wedding, weak sun, more subdued colours, and realise that a tropical wedding can be very colourful without looking like its too much

Look on Etsy vendor FlowersbytheVase. Mine is called First Love for a Jamaica ceremony. I am inept at pasting pics.

They do beautiful work. If you don’t want real touch, at least they have great ideas.

Mine will basically be a combo of these two. White gerbera daisy’s with black centers, lime green button mums and blue orchids
